Trooper Keith Leary says a 21-year-old Everett man slammed his vehicle around 3 a.m. into an abandoned pickup truck parked alongside the freeway. The passenger of the car died at the scene.
The Herald of Everett reports that investigators found a case of beer, and many bottles opened in the vehicle.
