One of Northwest’s finest professional orchestras, Northwest Sinfonietta had been performing around the Puget Sound area since 1991. It performs a wide range of symphonic, opera, and ballet pieces coming from Baroque to contemporary composers. It is regularly heard on the local KING-FM 98.1 radio station.

The charismatic conductor Christophe Chagnard studied at Berklee College of Music and New England Conservatory. Graduated with Honors, he went on to serve Berklee College of Music on the faculty. Said to be a bit unconventional to his approach to conducting, he compels the audience into the music to bring an intense musical experience. Mr. Chagnard is currently Music Director of the Lake Union Civic Orchestra and Director of Orchestras at the University of Puget Sound.
