(Seattle, WA) Mayor Mike McGinn today announced Tania María Rosario as the Boards and Commissions Administrator for the Mayor.

Rosario, a public relations consultant, has spent 18 years in political, community and labor organizing efforts on behalf of economic justice and civil rights. Her appointment will help ensure that Seattle’s diverse voices are among those making decisions in city government.

Rosario, a public relations consultant, has spent 18 years in political, community and labor organizing efforts on behalf of economic justice and civil rights. Her appointment will help ensure that Seattle’s diverse voices are among those making decisions in city government.

Rosario has served on the boards of Washington Alliance for Immigrant and Refugee Justice, was a founding member of the Washington Latino Political Action Committee (LPAC), helped organize CineSeattle, the first Seattle International Film Festival, and currently serves on the board of Mujeres Northwest.
