The 19 contestants of 2010 Miss Washington Pageant traveled to Tea Palace Asian Restaurant in Renton, one of the event sponsors, for the official arrival. They were welcomed by the Renton Mayor Denis Law and 2009 Miss Washington Devanni Partridge.

The contestants are staying at Renton’s Holiday Inn for the week, and touring in the surrounding area, including a visit to Renton Farmers Market, Federal Reserve Bank, and Children’s Hospital in Seattle.

The competition will be held at Highline Performing Arts Center in Burien over this weekend. July 9 will be the preliminary night, which will include two rounds of on-stage interview, swimsuit, talent, and evening wear. The final on July 10 will include talent performance from non-finalist winner, swimsuit, talent, evening wearing, and on-stage interviews and announcement of top five. The winner of the Miss Washington Scholarship Pageant goes on to compete in Miss America Pageant as Miss Washington.
