Brought to you by THQ, this installment packs many of the features of last year’s original Undisputed title series while still introducing many new features that will have you reliving your favorite matchups while creating many new ones as well.

Presentation:
Right out of the box UFC Undisputed 2010 is a mind blowing experience. From setting up the match to training for your next ultimate fight, the stylized menus and commentary intros and post interviews are introduced in a well put together manner for a realistic feel as if you were watching the next big Pay-Per-View UFC fight on television. UFC Undisputed 2010 is as fun to play as is it to watch!

Graphics:
The player models and highly detailed injuries are very realistic. The custom options available for creating and dressing up your very own custom UFC fighter keeps the graphics new and fresh to the player, especially with the new sponsorships you will be acquiring along the way in your career mode to keep your fighter always looking new and up to date with the latest gear. From blood splatters to mind blowing complex submissions all under the roof of the many famous Vegas arenas you will forget at times that you are playing a game.

Sound:
The television styled intros, authentic announcer voices (ie. Bruce Buffer, Rogan) with realistic pre and post commentary sequences before and after the fight from the fighters make UFC Undisputed 2010 a truly immersive experience. However after a long career mode at times some dialogue/comments seem repetitive. It would have been nice to see a larger bank of diverse comments added to the game for a longer varied gaming experience.

Gameplay:
This time around THQ brings back the much enjoyable fighting matches from the smooth transitions of blocking punches and taking down your opponent to submitting your enemy, nothing in UFC Undisputed 2010 feels gimmicky nor short of the real thing. However, much like last year’s title, the controls remain at a high and complex learning curve with a very limited tutorial system intact. We can understand perhaps Mixed Martial Arts is a very specialized complex sport, but if there was an easier way to become more skilled when controlling my fighter as opposed to heavy button mashing, it would have made the overall experience far more enjoyable than it already has been.

Longevity:
UFC 2010 offers a high replay value this time bringing a few new modes available to the players. With an in depth career mode you are able to set out to creating the Ultimate Fighting Champion. Once you are a champion you can take on the Title Defense mode where you will complete challenges to upkeep your title as the UFC Champ. If that isn’t enough for you, you can compete in a sixteen player tournament both online and offline.

Conclusion:
UFC Undisputed 2010 is back stronger than ever from its heavy hitting debut last year. Many great new ideas are brought to the table with this year’s release with the far more superior graphic element and presentation factors put into the mix. The new modes available to the game keep the replay value of this title to be a favorite amongst sport fighting games. Whether you are new or a veteran to the UFC Undisputed series of games this immersive title will be enjoyable. I am confident to say that with a bit more ease of use with the controls and tutorial system, this title is bound to be the ultimate MMA gaming experience.
