Workout. It has been proven that working out helps to retain more information.

Take study breaks. When you realize that you are no longer retaining the information, or that you have re-read the same page over and over again, it’s time for a break. Limit yourself to 15 minutes to keep on track.

Pick a good location. Location is truly key to studying. If you pick a place too comfortable like your bed or the sofa, it’s hard to keep focused. Instead, find a desk with lots of space, and a comfortable sturdy chair.

Don’t cram. This is self-explanatory, but you will thank yourself at the end of the quarter when Use your notes. Make sure that good notes have been taken, and review after class. Highlight the key things instead of underlining because it helps you retain information better.
