(Seattle, WA) The Seattle Public Library will host special story times in September and October featuring actors in costume as the television characters Dora from “Dora the Explorer” and Kai-lan from “Ni Hao, Kai-lan.” The events are designed for children ages 2 through 8.

(Seattle, WA) The Seattle Public Library will host special story times in September and October featuring actors in costume as the television characters Dora from “Dora the Explorer” and Kai-lan from “Ni Hao, Kai-lan.” The events are designed for children ages 2 through 8.

The story times are free and registration is not required. Parking is available in the Central Library garage at the regular rates. Free parking is available at the branch and community centers.

Dora will read from one of her Spanish/English bilingual books at the following times and locations:
•10:30 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 25, Central Library, 1000 Fourth Ave., 206-386-4636.

•3:30 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 25, South Park Community Center, 8319 8th Ave. S., 206-684-7451.

Kai-lan will read from one of her Mandarin Chinese/English bilingual books at the following times and locations:
•10:30 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 2, Northgate Community Center, 10510 5th Ave. N.E., 206-386-4283.
•3:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 2, Beacon Hill Branch, 2821 Beacon Hill Ave. S., 206-684-4711.

Giveaways and photo opportunities will be available. The story times are presented in partnership with the Seattle Theatre Group in promotion of the upcoming stage show “Storytime Live!” at the Paramount Theatre Oct. 23 and 24. For more information about the show, visit www.stgpresents.org.
