Paul “PK” Kim, founder and executive director started Kollaboration with the mission and mantra of “Empowerment through Entertainment.” It’s been 10 years since Kollaboration began in Los Angeles with the purpose of providing a platform for young and aspiring Asian Americans to break into the mainstream entertainment industry. PK will conclude his role as executive director at Kollaboration Seattle, his last show to host in 2010 and of the movement as a whole.

Seattle and The Pacific Northwest are home to many years of Asian and Asian American history and a hub where numerous diverse communities converge every day. 2010 is Seattle’s first year as part of the Kollaboration movement that included shows in Los Angeles, San Francisco, Toronto, Chicago, Atlanta, New York, Tulsa, Missouri, and Washington D.C.

Kollaboration Seattle will feature an array of talent competing for the grand prize with performances by many aspiring local acts including: kings, The Melancholics, Black Mamba, Hip Hop Anonymous, Sola Yun, Erin Kim, Samuel Shin, and Gowe.
