Seattle visitors should let the car rental companies know the need for a Good to Go! pass upon reservation., Vehicles with Good to Go! pass are available at many car rental companies with an extra charge.

For example, Avis Car Rental, which has its own electronic toll collection program, you can either pay $2.50 per day or $10 per week for the pass. The credit card on file with the rental agreement, will be charged after the car is returned. Drivers are responsible for payment of any parking, toll and moving traffic violations along with a reasonable administrative fee.

After 24 consecutive months without toll activity, the Good To Go! account is charged a $5 inactivity fee and then closed. Any remaining funds are returned to the account holder (unregistered accounts cannot be refunded).  Travelers may request to close their account at any time, without being charged a fee.

For those buying a car, contact customer service to order a new pass (if needed) and add the vehicle to the pre-existing account. For those selling his/her car, remove the Good To Go! Pass, discard the sticker pass, and contact customer service to remove the vehicle from the account and purchase a replacement pass if needed. It is important to follow the appropriate steps with the Department of Licensing for buying or selling a vehicle. If one do not properly transfer ownership and ensure the buyer registers the vehicle in their name and the original owner may receive a toll bill or infraction because you remain the registered owner of the vehicle.  For drivers who wish to transfer his/her Good To Go! Pass to the new owner of the vehicle; contact customer service for the appropriate form.
