What: The keynote speaker Tricia Clement, dietician and certified diabetes educator at Northwest Hospital will speak on “Keen Cuisine: Cents and Sensibility in the Kitchen”, featuring low cost ways to make your meals healthful while tantalizing your taste buds. A vendor fair of community partners offering samples, coupons, recipes and more will follow.
When: March 28, 7:00p.m.- 8:30p.m.

Ballard Bridge Southbound Lane Closure Delayed by Weather
Due to weather conditions, the contractor for the Ballard Bascule Bridge Painting has decided to postpone Ballard Bridge Southbound Lane closure to March 15, if weather permits. The lane will remain open during peak traffic periods for southbound traffic, but closed from 10:00a.m. to 6:00p.m., Tuesdays through Fridays and then again at night from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. the following day, Monday through Thursday.


People will get chances to win up to $100 gift certificates to local restaurants by taking an online survey about King County Metro and Sound Transit.
