高地公園爆竊案中發生槍攻擊
約於下午8:30,警方人員回應西南第九大道 8100號報稱有槍擊案發生。報案人稱他巡視家中後門發覺有嘈雜聲,其後看到三名亞裔男性和一名黑人男性青少年從他家房子後面逃出。當中一名男性轉過身來,用手恐嚇當事人。據報人士說他不能確定那是否槍械,但看到有 2、3下閃爍和聽到槍聲。然後看見該群青少年向南跑向西南9街,繼而逃向西南薊街以西方向。警方人員據受害人所述在疑犯開火位置,撿獲兩粒子彈殼。

Shots fired during a burglary in Highland Park
At around 8:30 pm, officers responded to a “shots fired” call in the 8100 Block of 9th Avenue Southwest.  While investigating a loud crash at his back door, the victim saw three Asian males and a black male teenagers running from behind his house. One of the males turned around and pointed his arm at the victim.  The victim stated that he could not actually see a gun, but saw 2-3 flashes and heard gun shots.  The group of teens then ran southbound on 9th Ave S.W. and then west on S.W. Thistle Street. Officers located two shell casings in the area where the victim stated the suspects fired the gun.

5 teenagers injured in Alki Beach firepit incident
On June 11, at 8:50 p.m., Southwest Precinct officers, along with the Seattle Fire Department, responded to the firepits at Alki Beach for a report of injuries involving a number of teenagers and possible accelerants in the fire. Officers and firefighters arrived and located five injured teenagers. All of the injured were transported to Harborview Medical Center with varying degrees of burns to their upper bodies and faces. The Arson Bomb Squad was informed of the incident and will be handling the follow up investigation.

Two men arrested for food fight at West Seattle market
Just after 2 a.m., a convenience store employee flagged down an officer near 35th Avenue S.W. and S.W. Barton Street and reported he’d seen several men skulking around inside a nearby market. The officer found fruit and vegetables strewn in and around the business, and in the middle of the street. The 26 and 27 year-old men hiding under a table were booked into the King County Jail for burglary.

Officers arrest suspect in Belltown stabbing
Around 3:15 a.m. on June 9, several witnesses saw a 24-year-old man run screaming out of an alleyway at 4th Avenue and Blanchard Street, covered in blood. Officers stopped the 34-year-old suspect at 7th Avenue and Pike Street. The man had blood on his hands and clothing, and was carrying a pocket knife. Two witnesses said they recognized the suspect — who had a distinctive tattoo on his chest — and officers booked the suspect into the King County Jail for assault.

Shots Fired in the Central District, Suspect in Custody
On June 8 at approximately 4:58 p.m. officers responded to calls of shots fired near the intersection of 23rd Avenue South and South Jackson Street. Preliminary investigation indicates that a male suspect was firing a gun at another group of males all of whom were known to each other. Officers located the suspect in a clothing store southwest of the intersection of 23rd and Jackson. The 25-year-old was booked into the King County Jail for investigation of assault and investigation of unlawful possession of a firearm, both felony crimes.
