Due to Torchlight Parade, several roads and streets will be closed in this coming Saturday night.

As part of Seafair, the Torchlight Parade begins at 7:30 p.m. July 30, but closures will begin long before then.

The parade route starts at Fourth Avenue N and Broad Street; turns south on Fourth to S Washington Street; then west on Washington to Second Avenue S; and finally south on Second to King Street; disperses in the north lot of Qwest Field.

The additional closures are as follows:

8:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.

The two southern lanes (right side of street as you travel towards I-5) of Mercer from 2nd Avenue to 4th Avenue closed. (The two northern lanes will be open all day.)

3:00 p.m.
Southbound lanes of 5th Avenue from Mercer Street to Denny Way Closed

6:00 p.m.

4th Avenue from the Memorial Stadium to Seattle Center Closed
5th Avenue southbound between Mercer and Broad
All cross streets intersecting 4th Avenue from 3rd Avenue to 5th Avenue Closed
Broad Street from Harrison Street to Denny Way Closed
Denny Way from Warren Avenue to 5th Avenue Closed
John Street from Broad to 6th Avenue Closed
Thomas Street from Broad to 6th Avenue Closed
Taylor Avenue from Broad to Denny Way Closed
Eastbound Harrison Street from Broad to Aurora Avenue N. Closed
2nd Avenue N. from Denny to Thomas Street Closed
Thomas Street from Warren Avenue to 2nd Avenue N. Closed
John Street from Warren Avenue to 2nd Avenue N. Closed

Dexter Avenue N. from Mercer Street to Denny Way Closed
Northbound Aurora Avenue N. (Hwy 99) from SODO District to Mercer Street Closed
