What: The businesses of Seattle’s historic Japantown hosts second annual Nihomachi Nite in International District. Nihonmachi Nite 2012 welcomes foodies, art lovers and families to experience all that Japantown has to offer — new galleries, stylish boutiques, delicious foods and Japanese-American culture — all in a historic setting.

12th Ave Neighborhood Festival

What: 12th Avenue Neighborhood Festival is a unique community Festival featuring restaurants that offer international flavors of the neighborhood for $5 or less. One-of-a-kind shops will have their wares and services available to explore. Bring the family and share in the experience of 12th Avenue.

Bus service changes coming this fall

Metro Transit will make a large set of changes to bus service on September 29. These changes will include the launch of two new RapidRide Lines connecting Ballard and West Seattle to downtown. The Ride Free Area in downtown Seattle is also scheduled to end on September 29.


MBAC announces endorsement for Jay Inslee

Minority Business Action Committee PAC (MBAC) endorsed Democratic candidate for governor Jay Inslee, saying that he is committed to long-term sustainability of all minority business entrepreneurs (MBEs) in Washington State and will ensure they will have an equal voice in his administration for the benefit of all MBEs.
