What: Hempfest is the largest annual event in Seattle with nearly 250,000 people expected over the weekend. Most attendants are tolerant of cannabis. The atmosphere is festive and safe along the waterfront. Tourists visiting Seattle have the opportunity to see an event unlike any other.

Work on Aurora BAT lanes begins Aug. 12
Beginning Aug. 12, the Seattle Department of Transportation (SDOT) will begin work on improvements to Aurora Avenue North to enhance transit speed and reliability, prepare for King County Metro’s RapidRide E Line, and reduce travel times for drivers. The department will install Business Access and Transit (BAT) lanes, add signal priority for Metro buses, and retime corridor traffic signals.
