SPU’s 52nd Ave. S. CSO Reduction Project will help reduce sewage overflows into Lake Washington, which occur occasionally during heavy rain. The project will affect the Mapes Walkway at S. Henderson St. & 52nd Ave. S. (behind Saar’s Marketplace), as well as nearby Beer Sheva Park.
