提高在家辦公幸福指數的綠植店

之前經歷的霧霾天裡，是否即便家裡蹲也覺得昏昏沉沉？朋友家的home office就頗有預見性的擺滿了綠植——雖然科學研究證明indoor plant對於改善室內空氣環境作用極小，但滿眼生機盎然的感覺，多少能提升在家辦公的幸福指數。

還記得之前我們之前分享過西雅圖的植物商店集合嗎？趁著即將結束的夏季，編輯部為大家再次盤點以分享更多這樣的小店，讓大家宅在家也可以體驗種植的樂趣。

Bellevue Nursery

這是一家裝潢很經典的植物商店。無論是種植需要的工具，草藥，時令蔬菜種子，還是稀有的果樹，你都可以在這里找到。（今年購買的人很多，所以供應有時可能緊張，請提前打電話詢問）

Ever since I moved to my new place, I wanted fill up my balcony with plants. I pinterested like nobody’s business & pinned up some really fancy ideas for a balcony garden. Next was to buy the correct plants for an amateur gardener like me. I knew from the start that I’ll be visiting a nursery and making my investment worthwhile! And boy was I proud of myself. @bellevue_nursery offers a wiiiiiide variety of indoor and outdoor plants, planters & garden accessories. I scored lovely trailing plants that I could hang from my balcony. All were between $4-$5 4” plants💚 🌱 Pretty reasonable right? I haven’t found better plant deals anywhere else (including online). Plus, nurseries source fresh saplings, soil & the people running it are so knowledgeable! What are your go-to places for plant shopping? In January of 2019 I was having lunch and doing Valentine’s Day paperwork at Chaco Canyon. I was trying to figure out my game plan for getting extra hands on deck for the holiday. So I went to get a glass of water and noticed a business card on the community board for @alannajaefloral. So I reached out to Alanna on @instagram to see if she was interested in freelancing with us for VDAY. She came to the shop to meet n’ greet and reminisced about how she used to shop the footprint of @400fairview as a child with her Mom when it was @northwest_wholesale_florists. We clicked right away, there was an ease about Alanna and I knew she was meant to be there. She worked with us for VDAY and then on April 18th started working at Verde as an employee. Alanna became the manager in October and has been running the day to day since then. We have too many oddities in common to count, including numbers, butterflies and Mariah Carey. Alanna surprised me and had our card vendor Lauren of @goodsheilaco make this for me for Christmas. I burst into tears when Alanna gave it to me. I was blown away by how thoughtful she was and thank you Lauren for your beautiful depiction of @verdeseattle. When I look at the picture I see my baby. With the help of many, I brought it up, taught it to walk, talk and find a sense of purpose. I’m so grateful for all the people that have entered the doors of Verde and signed up for the journey. With love and gratitude. Team work makes the dream work!! Sky Nursery

毗鄰Shoreline Costco，創立於1953年。創始人Irene和Jim對它傾註了很多心血，從一間小店鋪開始做起，一邊上夜校學習植物種植，一邊自己摸索搭建溫室、呵護花朵綠植，60多年過去，規糢可能不及下面那間Swansons的大，但也是區域內規糢數一數二的植物商店了。

小編上周末恰好去逛了逛，植物品種齊全，Indoor Plant部分按照光照要求等作了分類，對新手也非常友好。此外出口收銀處是個大的植物相關主題商店，可以淘到不少可愛的花盆、居家裝飾、日用品等，大家能逛個盡興。
