Seattle Chinese Times is a weekly bilingual Chinese and English newspaper that publishes every Thursday in the Greater Seattle Area.
We strive to deliver information that helps to enrich the lives of our community members and build intercultural bridges between Chinese and mainstream American media. We provide in-depth news reports and diversified editorials accustom to the lifestyle and cultural behavior of the Chinese and Asian ethnic groups in the Pacific Northwest.

History
Seattle Chinese Times launched its first edition, in May 2004. Since then, we have become the “media partner” to our newspaper readers.
In January 2005, we improved the design and quality of our publication by introducing the inaugural edition of full-color Seattle Chinese Times, which also marked the “first full-color” weekly newspaper in our community.
In May 2005, we developed the “Canada section” featuring events and activities in Vancouver, B.C., to expand our readership and market niche.
To cope with the new media trends, we launched our website seattlechinesetimes.com in March 2006. Our readership profile expanded beyond the Washington State and the United States. It has outreached to other countries around the world.
In November 2009, Seattle Chinese Times went bilingual, a transformation in bridging the eastern and the western cultures. We are the only community publication with both Chinese and English language covering different news and stories for each language.

西城时报于2003年筹备，2004年5月6日创刊，旨在传承我中华文化、服务社团，鼓励华人参政议政。首创彩色印刷、左至右横排、免费提供各地各市华人读者精神食粮。历年虽历经困难艰苦，忠实及广泛报导，达至中西资讯流通。
为配合崭新媒体的趋势，西城时报于2006年3月开设了seattlechinesetimes.com 网站，方便读者于网上浏览各种最新、最详尽的新闻资讯。随着我们开设了属于西城的网站，我们读者群日益扩大，超出了华盛顿州和美国，迈向其他各国以至全世界。
2009年11月西城时报转为双语发行，配合传媒时代发展，加强族裔文化和谐与交流，迎合美国多元文化读者层面。我们亦是唯一中英文并重的社区报章。
