The all-time favorite scene between Aladdin and Princess Jasmine—“A Whole New World”—was well played by Adam Jacobs and Courtney Reed. As soon as Aladdin said to Jasmine, “Why not escape as the evening fall, there’s a whole new world to see”. The audience gasped and went, “Aw.”

In addition to the talented performers and musicians, the costumes and props will make your eyes popped. Walking out of the theatre after the musical, I could still hear people talking about the brilliance of the camel props, which appeared at the very beginning of the show.

The only thing I expected to see but did not show up in the musical was Aladdin’s mischievous monkey, Abu. Jasmine’s tiger and Jarfar’s bird were missing too. After all, it is musical performed on a classy stage, having wild animals around would have been too much.

Just like any Disney’s movie, Aladdin is a musical for all ages. If you like colorful costumes, playful jokes, and most important of all—a happy ending, you will not be disappointed from the musical.
